Typescipt of an interview conducted by Ben Bahlmann on 7 March 1999. The audiocassettes from which the transcription was made were retained by Bahlmann. Conta talks about his training in the Army Air Corps during World War II, his service on as a pilot on a B-17 bomber that flew out of England, and his combat missions over Europe.
